
Upon
Joining, members receive one complimentary fitness assessment/consultation
with an Abington Club Personal Fitness Trainer. A complimentary re-evaluation
is available for all new and existing members.
Fitness Assessment:
An Abington Club Personal Trainer
will review the member’s health, exercise and nutrition history.
Any physical limitations or relevant health problems should be disclosed
so the Trainer can advise you on what exercises are right for you.
A series of voluntary tests will be given to include: Blood Pressure,
resting pulse rate, girth measurements, body fat analysis, cardiovascular
step test, flexibility test and upper body strength test (push-ups)
and abdominal strength test (curl-ups).
Consultation:
The member will be instructed on
which machines can be used to help him/her reach his/her personal
fitness goal(s) The Trainer is available to answer any questions
you may have regarding sets, repetitions, form, technique, etc…
These appointments are not personal training sessions.
You may choose to continue your fitness program with any of our
Personal Trainers at any time. Ask an Abington Club Personal
Trainer for details.
