Classes will run for six weeks on Saturdays at 10AM from October 7-November 11. All six classes are just $120 or $100 for club members or $25 per class or $20 for club members. Space is limited so be sure to call 215.885.0734 x113 to register. You will also need to complete this registration form and brig it to the font desk when you arrive.

Saturday, October 7 at 10AM
Children will learn all about Yayoi Kusama, a contemporary artist who works with paint and polka dots. Kids will create fabulous papermache pumkins. What a great fall decoration for your home!
Ice Cream Sculptures
Saturday, October 14 at 10AM
Wayne Thiebaud is an American painter widely known for his colorful works depicting commonplace objects-pies, lipsticks, paint cans, ice cream cones, pastries, and hot dogs-as well as for his landscapes and figure paintings. Children will create their very own ice cream sculptures.
Floral Arrangement Painting
Saturday, October 21 at 10AM
Young artists will be inspired by still-life painter Rachel Ruysch and create their own floral masterpieces on canvas! This work of art will look beautiful somewhere in your home!
Self Portrait Collages
Saturday, October 28 at 10AM
Kids will create their very own self portraits inspired by one of the most influential artists of the 20th century - Pablo Picasso! Artists will learn about this Spanish painter, sculptor, print maker, ceramicist and stage designer. These masterpieces will be created using mixed media and the finished product will be framed!
Magical Trees Painting

Gustav Klimt was an Austrian symbolist painter. Klimt is noted for his paintings, murals, sketches, and other objects. In addition to his famous portraits, he painted landscapes. Children will paint a tree on canvas, inspired by Gustav's The Tree of Life, Stoclet Friez.
Fantastic Felines Painting

Young Artists will draw inspiration from Nick Gustafson, an artist and children's book illustrator that loves to paint wildlife and nature with acrylics and watercolors and draw with prism color pencils and with pen and ink. They will paint on canvas and add some "fantastic felines" to their colorful masterpiece.
Meet the Art Director - Alyssa Abel: Alyssa is currently an art teacher at The Concept School - an independent school with educational programs for students in grades 7-12 located in Westtown, PA. She has also been the Art Director at the Abington Club Kids Camp for two seasons, and created a fun environment in which campers could express themselves through art! Last spring she graduated from Kutztown University and taught art lessons in a number of elementary, middle, and high school classrooms. Alyssa also displays her art at local farmer’s markets and craft fairs and has her very own Etsy shop to market her handmade jewelry.
Thursday Golf Scramble
5:30pm - 7:30pm
The Abington Club, 300 Meetinghouse Road, Jenkintown, PA 19027
The Abington Club Golf Scramble is held every Thursday starting at 5:30pm. Players meet in the top parking lot and reserve their spot to play on a first-come, first-served basis. The cost is $25 and includes golf cart and a pitcher of soda or domestic beer from The Wet Whistle Bar & Grill.
